Day Sky: Cloud Practice by Esvandetta Day Sky: Cloud Practice by Esvandetta
Hi!

I recently got some help on clouds (thank you ~Carreauline so much) and so this is practice...

Haha obviously the one in the bottom left corner is upside down (XD I'm lazy...) and the clouds are a bit darker than needed... I I'll make sure to fix that!

^___^ As for the background... Yeah I just kind through that together in a few mins...

Hey Caroline (yup... I'm guessing that's what your name is) Let me know how well I did!

Ja Ne!

And: tadaaah! You're right! xD

Looks nice! Really all fluffy x3
Next step would be, trying on different brush sizes to make it not look tha symmetrical :3 And don't be afraid to really erase some parts you drew, just to give the clouds another shape. Observation is key, so look from pictures with clouds from time to time to help you get used to shadung and form etc.
But I think you did a really nice job!

For the sky: gradient tool is your best friend ;3 Pick up some colours from a photo or just try to pick them yourself (remember: the farer to the horizon, the "whiter" it gets!) and just put it into the background - tadaaah, a sky x3

Keep it up!

I did that ^___^ I also added sun rays! That's what the light lines are! I got a tutorial of that design online somewhere... (I can attach the link if you wish)

So... the general idea/texture I have down, I just need to get more loose and original with them? I can do that! :D

Thank you so, so much for telling me how to do it! You may not have said much... but you told me how to do it in your own way! I don't think I'll be using dodge/burn anymore (I used to for valuing, but then the saturation part got too bothersome)

^___^ Once again! Thank you!
